Yvonne and Marie Costello moved to a bright new premises in 2007 and wanted a new carrier bag to reflect t interior
The orange and cerise colour scheme we had previously created for them was to stay but the edgy typeface was to go.
Our graphic designer, Sean, came up with a much softer, more feminine script with an open feel - just like the new retail space Kymari occupied.
He came up with a long, swirling capital K and added flowers along two edges of the bag.
The 130gsm, ribbed kraft paper of the previous bag still works for the Kymari customer and a rope handle in the same cerise colour gives it a touch of caché.
The bag has worked a treat and been reordered many times.
Just received the bags today, they are fantastic! The colours are perfect - just what I was looking for. I love the idea you came up to make the bag look like something a kid messing about with crayons would do. Nobody else has a bag like this.
